Add-On Modules
Lamplight can send mail-merged email with its core system if your mail provider’s security allows.
But as email security improves it is becoming harder to link Lamplight directly to your email. Some providers block the connections from Lamplight that would allow you to email directly from the system.
The Email Module solves this, by allowing you to send emails using our servers. We set you up with a new domain that your email will be sent from and link it to your Lamplight.
The emails will have your branding, and any replies will go straight to your email address. You can also send up to 5,000 emails with 2.5GBs of attachments per month. We can even extend it if you need to send more!
To enable this on your account we pay an annual fee to register a domain for you to use and incur additional Amazon Web Services costs for each email sent. That’s why we have to charge this as an additional module.
Set-up
Setting up the module can take a few days. There are a few verification steps that need to be completed before the module can be up and running.
We also need to apply to Amazon Web Services (our hosting provider) to allow emails to be sent on your behalf. They may have questions about your intended use, so the more information you can provide us with, the less likely we will have to go back and forth to get your usage approved.
We cannot guarantee that your use will be approved, and if it’s refused, we will have to cancel your order for the module.
