Spending too much time on data entry and noticing mistakes made? Have folders full of forms or referrals that you manually type in? Or do you have to spend time adding events to both your website and Lamplight.
The Publishing Module can help.
The Publishing Module allows you to connect a website or application to Lamplight. You can use Lamplight’s built-in features to do this or create your own.
You choose what records and information to publish, so you are in full control of your data. You also decide exactly how you want to present it on your website – we just link you to the data.
You can accept data into Lamplight if needed, such as allowing people to refer themselves through your website or book onto events.
You can create widgets within Lamplight that allow you to embed profile information, work record listings or referral forms on your website.
Still need more? The Publishing Module gives you access to an API that allows your web developer to do more complex workflow. One customer of ours uses this to allow their website to create three different profiles, add relationships between them and add them to the waiting list.
The Publishing Module may be beneficial to your system is you want:
- A staff directory, pulled from the staffing information in Lamplight
- To accept new referrals from your website directly into Lamplight
- A directory of local voluntary organisations
- A searchable directory of local services for people seeking support
- A ‘what’s on’ list for upcoming events
"We started using the module to accept new referrals. This has reduced our admin time by a quarter."
