Handling your safeguarding concerns in different ways? Need Safeguarding managers to be able to monitor the status of concerns in one place?
The Safeguarding Module can help.
The Safeguarding Module helps record and manage safeguarding concerns right in your Lamplight system.
Safeguarding Managers can use their dashboard to view and manage all safeguarding concerns, and full reporting can help identity any patterns.
The module also allows you to store DBS check records and reminds you before they expire.
The process:
- Any operator raises and records a concern about a person of concern.
- A Safeguarding Manager is notified via email and may do an initial assessment. They can add notes and change the status as needed. They may then assign it to a Lead Contact.
- The Lead Contact takes action. They establish facts and decide whether further referral is appropriate. All actions are logged to the concern.
- If a further referral was appropriate, you may liaise with external agencies to address the concern, sharing information as needed.
- A manager can sign off and close the concern.
The Safeguarding Module may be beneficial to your system if you need to:
- Manage safeguarding concerns raised by members of your team
- Assess and act on concerns appropriately and promptly
- Have concerns be (mostly) confidential within Lamplight
- Learn from your practice
