At the end of July 2024, Lamplight turned 20!
To mark this occasion, Team Lamplight are doing a sponsored challenge to travel 20,000km over the next year. We can walk, run, cycle, row or hop – anything that doesn’t use an engine. 20,000km roughly marks the distance between the hundreds of amazing charities we support all around the UK, to our far-flung customers in Bermuda, Athens, California and more!
Sponsorship Funds
The sponsorship money we raise during the year will be distributed to a random selection of our customers. We will post our progress each month on our social media and on this blog. If you would like your organisation to be in the draw, please follow our adventures on Facebook, Instagram or LinkedIn, and cheer us on as we take on this challenge! We will continue to update this page as we go.
Why this challenge?
Health and Wellbeing in the workplace is important to us. By doing this challenge, we’re encouraging ourselves to get out and keep our bodies moving. This will also have benefits for our mental health – reducing feelings of depression and stress, enhancing our emotional well-being and increasing our energy levels. All while building our teamwork and group cooperation.
